September is here and the count down is on for the open studio event , the last weekend of September. According to the calendar , it will also be a full moon which is always favorable for high activity. I will have three floors full of art for you to browse through. It will be the first time I will exhibit the Kimono Dreams series I have been working on for more than a year now. This series of about 25 paintings is inspired by the ancient Japanese worship of the tree peony.
There will be framed and unframed work to choose from as well as a discounted section for bargain hunters. I am just now also creating art cards in black cardstock which is acid free and ready to frame or mail as you wish. Doors will open each day at ten a. m. beginning on Friday the 25th of September thru to Sunday and close at 5 p. m. This event is in conjunction with Journees de la Culture but I hope you will help me spread the word on facebook and by word of mouth. Thanks in advance to all of you who have given me your support and encouragement on this journey of creativity.

Working hard on getting my work out into the world. You will find a selection of new paintings now on display at Maison Fusion in Pointe Claire Village as well as my art cards. New venue is the adorable Le Rumeur which is a tea shop with delicious home baked meringues they call macarons in French. I tried a beautiful lavender one. Right on Lakeshore near Cartier, it is the perfect spot to display my paintings over the next few months. Stop in for coffee or sit outside and watch the world go by.
A personal studio visit can be most rewarding. I will have time to focus on your particular taste and needs. Are you looking for a landscape? a flora? or a figure painting? Do you have a certain budget in mind? What shape is ideal for your wall space:- square? rectangular? long format? Colors are another consideration according to your decor and personal preferences.
Or perhaps you prefer to just choose what you fall in love with and make it work in your space. Either way, I am happy to take the time to help you make the right choice from a large assortment of framed and unframed work. Give me a call to set up a time that works. Check out my new page on Fine Art America. I have posted many new peony paintings from the Kimono Dreams series. These are now available as canvas prints and even pillows. Originals are available thru me here at Creative Being Studio or can be mailed to you by post. Originals come framed or unframed . I also have many matted paintings that are cello wrapped. Check out the slideshow for available work.
